A home raised herd sire that was the top bull on test at the Missouri feed trial in 2008. He combined his –5.82 RFI with a top end #7 ADG at 3.90 and was the top F/G bull on test. He had an actual BW of 62 lbs. with ratios BW 96%, WW 96% YW 101% REA 103% with a 1.28 cwt and an IMF of 120%. He appears to have the right growth curve we are looking for. Small at birth, explode to a year of age and then mature at a lighter weight.

He has been used here to maintain low birth weights, improve thickness, add fleshing ability and improve carcass traits and has been a leader in the feed conversion testing we have done.

His 4 steers from the NHF recorded results of: LW after 4% shrink, 1358 CW 885 Dress % 65.28 FT .64 REA 15.2 IMF 4.99 ADG 3.72
