OZ Brxtn Mackintosh 117D
"Mac" sires well pigmented calves with low birth weights, good thickness, growth and a super disposition. Many sons have been used successfully on commercial heifers. His daughters are the problem free type that are moderate sized, excellent uddered, sound footed and have great maternal insticts. A high percentage of females on the place trace back to 117D. The average adjusted birth weight on 73 head of bull calves is 83 lbs., and 84 heifers averaged 80 lbs. He is a trait leader for BW and CED. The steers we have finished out of him have graded a high percentage choice. He is deceased, but we intend on using him more as several customers are still requesting his sons. |
